Run your ceiling fan on low speed in a clockwise direction during cold-weather months to help circulate warm air that gathers near the ceiling back into the room. Change the direction of rotation by flipping the switch on the motor housing or remote control. Then raise your heating system’s thermostat by a few degrees. Finally, remember to turn off the fan when the room is unoccupied.
