Ingredients

2 cups stew meat
2 cups onion, chopped
2 cups potatoes, diced in 1-inch pieces
2 cups carrots, sliced in 1-inch pieces
2 cups celery, sliced in 1-inch pieces
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups frozen peas
2 cups frozen whole kernel corn, optional

Instructions

Bring meat to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain broth; return to pan bringing meat and broth to a simmer. Add onions, potatoes, carrots, celery and salt. Cook until tender. Add peas and corn the last 5 minutes.
