Ingredients

7 Cup shredded cabbage
water
2 Teaspoon butter
2 Teaspoon flour
1 Teaspoon prepared mustard
1 1/4 Cup milk
1 Teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 Cup shredded American cheese
2 Tablespoon bread crumbs

Instructions

Cook cabbage until tender in a small amount of water. Drain and set aside. Melt butter and stir in flour, mustard, milk, salt and pepper. Cook until thick. Combine cabbage, sauce and 1/2 of the cheese. Spoon into a buttered 1- quart casserole. Mix remaining cheese with the bread crumbs and sprinkle on top of cabbage mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
