Ingredients

4 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup jalapeño peppers, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
2 cups chicken, cooked and cubed
1 cup chicken broth, divided
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce, optional
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
8 ounces lasagna noodles, cooked
8 ounces pepper jack cheese, shredded
8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

In a large skillet, sauté garlic, onion and jalapeños in butter until tender. Add cream cheese. Cook and stir until melted. Stir in chicken and 2/3 cup chicken broth. Add hot sauce if desired and season to taste. Combine the pepper jack and cheddar cheese. Pour the remaining 1/3 cup broth into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer three noodles, half the chicken mixture and half the cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-45 minutes, until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
