Ingredients
| 4 | cloves garlic, minced |
| 1 | medium onion, chopped |
| 1 | cup jalapeño peppers, chopped |
| 3 | tablespoons butter |
| 8 | ounces cream cheese, cubed |
| 2 | cups chicken, cooked and cubed |
| 1 | cup chicken broth, divided |
| 1/8 | teaspoon hot sauce, optional |
| salt, to taste | |
| pepper, to taste | |
| 8 | ounces lasagna noodles, cooked |
| 8 | ounces pepper jack cheese, shredded |
| 8 | ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded |
Instructions
In a large skillet, sauté garlic, onion and jalapeños in butter until tender. Add cream cheese. Cook and stir until melted. Stir in chicken and 2/3 cup chicken broth. Add hot sauce if desired and season to taste. Combine the pepper jack and cheddar cheese. Pour the remaining 1/3 cup broth into a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer three noodles, half the chicken mixture and half the cheese mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 30-45 minutes, until bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
