Ingredients
| 1 Cup | sugar |
| 1 Cup | cooked, pureed squash (or pumpkin) |
| 1/2 Cup | low-fat shortening |
| 2 Cup | whole wheat flour |
| 1 Teaspoon | baking powder |
| 1 Teaspoon | baking soda |
| 1 Teaspoon | cinnamon |
| 1/4 Teaspoon | salt |
| 1 Cup | chocolate chips |
Instructions
Mix sugar, squash and shortening. Stir in dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
